This show had such an effect on my young adult life. I have all 4 seasons on DVD and I still watch them back when I need to be reminded of (in this callous, jaded world) keeping things real, listening to my heart, opening up and caring about things that really matter most.
Thank you, creators JJ Abrams and Matt Reeves. And, for the record, I continued to watch post-"season 2 haircut" til the very last episode of the series. I honestly thought the drastic haircut was (and still is) a realistic post-break up move. I saw nothing wrong with it.
It's a good thing I live outside the US and I found out about the apparent "hair controversy" months after the whole debacle sort of died down along with the show's US ratings. To those who stopped watching after she cut her hair... MAN, you have no idea how much heart and soul you missed out on. Season two (as well as season one), in my opinion, had most of the best life lessons the show had to teach.
