Spent the entire day basically horizontal on my bed going through my film archive and watching movies and video clips on my laptop. Geez, movies on a laptop. Atrocious, huh? Wonder if Scorsese, a HUGE film fan, ever does watch movies on a portable computer.

I ought to give movies the type of viewing setting they are due. Best way to watch them is in a quiet, dimly lit room, on a big screen. Does not have to resemble a legit movie house's, but a big screen nevertheless.

Also watched Dick Cavett's 1971 interview with Mr. Bob Mitchum. Damn, that Mitchum is damnstraight articulate, YET he's not long-winded. Just perfect. I can listen to him talk all day. I mistakenly thought I first saw Mitchum in The Night of The Hunter but I completely forgot that I first set eyes on him in 1995's Dead Man, starring with no less than Johnny Depp.

That was Mitchum's final role.
